Under Age Sales

On 15th October 2009 the owner and an employee of a convenience store in Knutsford were prosecuted under the Children and Young Persons Act 1933 (as amended) for the sale of tobacco to a person under the age of 18. The owner and seller were fined £160 each plus costs.

Chelford

On 29th March 2010 three individuals from Greater Manchester operating at carboots across the Borough were sentenced to community orders, curfew and costs for numerous offences under the Trade Marks Act 1994.
