Weighbridge Operators Licence
To operate a public weighbridge, you will require a certificate
of competence from the Chief Inspector for Weights and Mesures.

Fees
There are no fees for the test or certificate issue.
Application Evaluation
The applicant will be tested to ensure you have sufficient
knowledge for the proper performance of your duties. The test will
take place using the equipment to which the certificate relates and
we will inspect the weighbridge at your premises.
Right of Appeal
If your application is unsuccessful, contact us and we will
discuss your application with you.
If you are unhappy with the reasons given, you can then appeal
to the Secretary of State for Business,
Innovation and Skills.
