Enforcement

In order to meet our aims of providing high quality, responsive services to consumers and businesses across the County, Consumer Protection and Investigations has a strategy of continual review. As part of the development of the Service, we would welcome comments from local businesses and individuals on our Enforcement Policy.

The purpose of the Enforcement policy is to secure efficient compliance with legislation while minimising the burden on businesses, individuals organisations and the Council.

We would welcome comments on any aspect of the policy but particularly in relation to if you feel the policy is meeting its stated purpose. We would also wish to be informed if you feel that, in any of your dealings with this Service, we have failed to meet the provisions of our Policy in any way.
