European Social Fund

The BeInspired European Social Fund/Education and Skills Funding Agency co-funded programme, will provide young people with the skills, experience and qualifications for them to achieve their career and employment goals.

Skills Support for the Workforce

Finding it hard to finance training for your team?  Then this newly launched programme Skills Support for the Workforce will help you as an employer, to access fully funded training across all sectors and subject areas for employees aged 19+

Learn Direct

The Manufacturing Institute's Profit Programme

The Profit Programme has been developed and is delivered by manufacturers for manufacturers.

Every manufacturing business faces different challenges. The Profit Programme uses a mixture of on-site consultancy support and optional masterclasses that are bespoke for your business.

There are 3P's in the Profit Programme:

  1. Prepare: Business Review - fully funded on-site business review to prepare a practical action plan to meet YOUR challenges.
  2. Progress: Subsidised consultancy days - option of up to 4 days subsidised on-site support with a manufacturing expert to implement your action plan.
  3. Perfect: Masterclass series - option of up to 6 subsidised masterclasses, giving you the tools to build a clear action plan to sustain improvement!

Please note: The £2.4 million Profit Programme is funded by The Manufacturing Institute and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). To meet ERDF eligibility requirements companies need to be based in the North West of England, employ less than 250 employees, not be wholly owned by a large group and have less than a £42m turnover.

Chambers of Commerce

Chambers in the Cheshire East area offer Information Technology courses and a wide range of business skills and management training such as `Dealing with Difficult Customers', `First Aid at Work' and `How to Maximise the Potential of LinkedIn'.
