Cheshire East Council's Business Events

Knutsford Jelly

Knutsford Jelly are Cheshire's first ever events exclusively for people who work from home e.g. freelancers, home workers and small/micro business owners - who spend their time working from dining rooms, lounges or even (in sunnier times) the back garden!

They are FREE informal event, where businesses can get together with like-minded people and work in a different environment for the day - sharing ideas, collaborating, and supporting each other.

Just bring your work, your laptop, and a smile!

Business Hubs

Following on from the business engagement events held in 2013 and the feedback we received from businesses that attended the events, Cheshire East Council has developed a range of fully subsidised Business Hub activities.

The free to attend Hub workshops and networking events are aimed at anyone considering self employment, new and established businesses and the third sector (e.g. charities and social enterprises).

Linkedin Workshop

The growing popularity of social and professional networking sites such as Linkedin, means they can no longer be ignored. With over 1.3 million small businesses now on the site, Linkedin can help develop your business, promote your services to a larger audience and strengthen and extend your existing network of business contacts.

This session will give you a better understanding of how to develop brand awareness, engage with customers, broaden your business interests and build and engage with your professional network.

Date  Time  Location
Tuesday 29th April 2014 11.30am - 1pm The Georges Community Centre, West Street, Crewe, CW2 8SJ
