Cheshire East Area - Business Events

A number of organisations throughout the North West offer business support, events and training to businesses in the Cheshire East area.  These include:

Cheshire East Council

Cheshire East Council is working with partner organisations including Business Link, Jobcentre Plus, WhyNotChange and local Chambers to deliver a number of FREE business events throughout 2012. These events are there to support anyone thinking of starting their own business or tendering for public sector contracts or looking to find out what help and support is available and how they can access it.

Business Growth Hub

The Business Growth Hub offers support to ambitious growing businesses to help them thrive, with the support and expertise of industry leaders.  They offer a range of events from Building successful teams, Creating value in your business and Increasing productivity, to Inspiring Leadership and Management.

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)

The HMRC Business Education and Support Team are a dedicated team trained to help you understand your tax responsibilities, and give you the confidence to get it right, first time.
They run a range of free workshops on a variety of subjects including: Becoming an Employer - what you need to know, PAYE - expenses and benefits and an Introduction to International Trade which are designed for everyone in business, especially new businesses or new employers.

10,000 Small Business Programme

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Programme aims to help small businesses and social enterprises create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to business education, financial capital, and business support services.

Reaseheath Enterprise Delivery Hub

Reaseheath Enterprise Delivery Hub offers a range of food and drink, Rural business and Climate Change events and workshops for farming, food and rural businesses in Cheshire East.

Marketing Academy

Marketing Cheshire has created a new training academy specialising in marketing and business. The Academy offers seminars and workshops, covering a wide range of subjects including: tips and tricks for online success, the 6 P’s of marketing and building business by networking and building relationships.

The seminars are delivered by qualified professional marketing specialists and are designed to help improve and build your business performance, by boosting your profits and helping you get the best out of your people.
