FindIt Cheshire and Warrington
FindIt is a new business-to-business marketplace for the Cheshire and Warrington area. The portal offers businesses free membership and instant access to local contacts, suppliers and business opportunities via e-mail alerts. Each company also has access to a customised mini-site and this is complemented by a range of other functions including listings of business events in the area, the latest news for local businesses and valuable support and advice services provided by local, regional and national organisations.

Enterprising Macclesfield is a new initiative developed and delivered by the people of Macclesfield for the benefit of the local area. It provides a structured support programme to ensure that businesses have initial guidance and coaching support to help them progress, and signposting to funding information and other key regional and national support organisations to help start-up, social and commercial enterprises succeed.

Great Britain campaign
The GREAT Britain campaign is a partnership between private enterprise and Government to highlight support for businesses aspiring to succeed and to encourage entrepreneurial spirit. The campaign wants to encourage you to take the leap to start up a business or grow your existing one – develop your ideas, write your business plan, employ more staff or start exporting.
The campaign can help you make your business idea happen. Whether you’re looking to test your ideas, or develop your financial and planning skills, it can give you the support and inspiration you are looking for and also provides links to key business support tools, highlighting top tools available from Government agencies and a whole range of providers.

Nano Investigation Centre, Liverpool
The Nano Investigation Centre in Liverpool (NiCaL) provides qualifying regional SME’s with free technical assistance, including access to the latest state of the art microscopy instrumentation, together with experienced analysts and material scientists, to help improve business productivity and competitiveness.
Please note: NiCaL is a non-commercial free-to-access resource, partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
