Application Evaluation Process
Regulations state that you must publish notice
of your application and notify responsible authorities and other
persons about the application. This will allow representations
to be made.
You must provide notice in three ways;
- A notice placed outside the premises for 28 consecutive
days in a place where it can be conveniently read;
- In a newspaper or newsletter of local relevance, on at least
one occasion within 10 days of the application being made; and
- To all responsible authorities within seven days of the
application being made.
Providing there are no valid representations
from either the responsible authorities or any interested parties,
the application process should be completed following the 28 day
consultation period.
We have provided some representations
guidance for people considering making representations against
the grant of a premises licence.
Premises licences are transferable to another
person, providing that person holds a valid operating licence (this
is issued by the Gambling Commission).
We may consider attaching conditions to
premises licences dependant upon individual circumstances.

which you will offer gambling are constructed.

- The applicant must have an operating licence (or have applied
