Statement of Licensing Policy
The Licensing Act 2003 requires that each licensing authority
writes, consults on and publishes a Statement of Licensing policy (PDF, 217KB). This
policy shows how Cheshire East Council will deal with applications
in order to achieve the four licensing objectives. These
are:
- the prevention of crime and disorder;
- public safety;
- the prevention of public nuisance; and
- the protection of children from harm.
Guidance for local residents and businesses with making
representations under the Act can be found in the making representations section.
Fees and Charges (Licensing Act 2003)
These fees and charges are determined by central government.
