Business Finance
Businesses seek finance for a variety of
reasons, to start-up a new venture, fund capital expenditure, fund
research and development and to obtain new working capital.
There are a variety of types of finance including grants, loans and
equity finance available and it is important you choose the right
finance for your business.
In this difficult climate new business funds
can be hard to access. In response to this the Government has
launched a package of financial measures. The North West
Development Agency (NWDA) also offers a variety of funding
schemes.
Visit the Business Link website to find out
more about the Government’s Real Help with
Finance Now programme.
To find out more about the NWDA’s finance
package visit their Finance for Business
website.
To ensure businesses can access the finance
they need the NWDA has launched an Access to Finance
service run by Business Link Northwest. The service
diagnoses the financial needs of the business, provides relevant
skills/expertise to secure funding and assists in finding the right
finance provider. Business Link Northwest also has an online
Grants and Business Support directory.

Finance programme and to access the online directory contact
