Deferral of Rates Liabilities in 2009/10
On 31st July 2009 new legislation came into force allowing
ratepayers to postpone payment of some of their 2009/2010
business rates bills.
To be eligible
- You must not have paid the 2009/2010 rates liability in
full
- Not be due to pay the 2009/2010 rates liability in full within
21 days
- Not have lost your right to pay the 2009/2010 rates by
instalments

been issued by the Government. If you wish to apply please
complete and return the application
form (PDF, 60KB) to us. If you are eligible we
will issue an amended bill to you showing your revised
instalments.
