Payments
You can pay your Non-Domestic Rates in the
following ways:
- ten successive monthly
instalments from April to January, payable on the 1st of the month
(however there is a choice of 3 payment dates for Direct Debit
payers)
- annually on 1st April
- half-yearly, on 1st April and 1st
September
Cheshire East Council offers several different ways to pay your
Non-Domestic Rates:
Pay by Direct Debit
Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay your Business Rates.
Payments can be made on either the 1st, 15th or the 27th of each
month.
The Council is able to set up Direct Debits for Business Rates
payments over the telephone. All you have to do is telephone the
Business Rates Section and ensure that you have your Bank Account
Number and Sort Code Number with you when you call (these are
usually shown in your cheque book). We will be able to set up your
Direct Debit immediately if you have the authority to do so as an
authorised signatory on the account.
Should you not wish to use the Paperless Direct Debit facility,
either print a Direct Debit Instruction
(PDF, 79KB) or telephone the Business Rates Section and a form
will be sent to you in the post. Please return the
completed form to the Council and not to your bank.
