Business
Over the past decade East Cheshire has sustained
a prosperous and relatively stable economy with a steady rate of
job creation, low unemployment, high skills levels, high
household income levels and a high rate of enterprise creation
successfully managing significant changes in its economic
structure, notably reductions in manufacturing and increases
in service employment.
Cheshire East Council aims to build on this
foundation and ensure that enterprises continue to receive high
quality services that allow them to grow and become more
competitive, or simply have the best chance of survival in a
hostile economic or financial climate.
